November 25, 2009, New Delhi: Voicetap Technologies (www.voicetap.in) – a startup headquartered out of New Delhi has won the the Red Herring Asia Top 100 award held in Shanghai on the 10th – 11th of November. Voicetap has also been included in the Red Herring Global Top 200, and will have to present in San Mateo to win the Red Herring Global Top 100 award. Voicetap is a company that is focused towards bridging the knowledge gap by connecting knowledge seekers to knowledge experts and has received SGD 1 Mn in seed funding from a Singapore based consortium.

When asked about Getafixx – their knowledge engine that Voicetap just launched, Devanshu Pandey – Head of Technology for Voicetap commented, “Getafixx is the web based solution for connecting users to experts directly. To use Getafixx, users just have to add getafixx@voicetap.in to their Gtalk client / Gmail buddy list and say “Hi”. Once registered – they can search for whatever they wish to gain knowledge on and will get connected directly to experts who are on the platform.
