The Bollywood Boys, a feature film starring David Faustino (Married with Children) and Corin Nemec (Parker Lewis Can’t Lose, Stargate SG-1) is set to begin production in early 2010.
November 20, 2009 /India PRwire/ — After press coverage earlier this year in The New York Times and Hollywood Reporter, Asian-backed investment firm L’Ambassador International Media & Entertainment has agreed to provide financing for the comedy.
According to Bollywood Boys writer/director, James L. Bills, "David and Corin are Abbot and Costello, Lucy and Ethel and at least three of the Marx Brothers. Their breakthrough Sony series Star-ving really raises the comedy bar."
In The Bollywood Boys, Faustino and Nemec play two Hollywood has-beens who try to make a Bollywood musical with stolen Mumbai mob money and an over-the-hill Indian movie star.
Los Angeles-based producers Al Gomez and Todd Bringewatt are producing the picture under their respective production banners AGP and F.N.B. Entertainment. David Faustino and Corin Nemec are executive producing.
