Chorus…for Global Oneness Sharda University Organises a Cultural Festival for the Youth
Sharda University Organises a Cultural Festival for the Youth
— Come February and for three days, (Feb 22 to 24) Sharda University (SU) will bring melody, masti and magic in the form of Chorus, a cultural festival for the youth in and around the NCR and Delhi. Participants and audiences can look forward to everything — from dance to music, arts, workshops and quizzes — at the SU campus in Greater Noida.
Chorus’ unique theme of ‘Global Oneness’ aims to bring together people from all over and inculcate a spirit of fun and friendship. International celebrity artistes will enthrall and entertain students of SU and other colleges of Delhi University’s north and south campuses. All will be invited to participate in various quizzes, debates and other competitions during the festival.
Dr RP Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Sharda University, said, “Chorus is a festival of students, by the students and for the students. Everyone at Sharda is working hard to make it a big success. Like its theme ‘Global Oneness’, Chorus gives a chance to students to come closer and act as a collective unit.”
Chorus will be inaugurated on February 22 and will also celebrate SU’s Founders’ Day. The inauguration will be followed by a classical concert by sarod players Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan.
Chorus will see a conglomeration of Indo-western entertainment-academic and art-science trends. While a Fashion Show by Fashion Television will be a highlight of the youth festival, the ever popular Roadies host Rannvijay from MTV will hold a session of the famous reality show at the campus. Also attracting Bollywood enthusiasts will be the Jab We Met fame film director Mr. Imtiaz Ali. He will deliver a lecture on films and direction skills and will also judge a Nukkad Natak competition.
Western music lovers can look forward to listening and rocking to two international bands: Simon Webb from Blue of UK will perform on day two and Jal from Pakistan, will perform on day three. For those looking to test their mental and academic skills there will be an inter-college quiz conducted by Quiz Master Mr. Charu Sharma. The famous dancer Daksha Seth and her troupe will give a scintillating Aerial dance performance.
Apart from these highlights and a host of cultural activities, there will be several competitions including a Boardroom Battle fought by business school students, fusion dance, radio jockeying, poster making and LAN gaming and robotic competition to make Chorus a complete youth fest.

AUTOVEGA™ Hires Sparkleminds To Expand its Low-Cost,’ At Your DoorStep’ Mobile Car Servicing Franchise
AutoVega is a low cost mobile car service station fitted into a Van, that comes to your doorstep and services your car within 2 Hours.Franchises available across India at an initial investment of Rs 10 Lakhs for Unit Franchise & 30 lakhs for Super Franchise.
— From the Pioneers of Mobile Car Servicing in India comes AutoVega™. Presenting India’s Most Profitable Automotive Franchise Opportunity.
Car owners in India today primarily have two options for preventive maintenance services – authorized service centres of car manufacturers, and roadside, independent garages. The authorized service centres have large infrastructure, in terms of real estate, staff, overheads etc., and they pass the high costs of all this on to the car owners who have to settle for heavily overpriced services. While the roadside garages offer cheaper services, they are a highly unorganised sector, usually with labour that is not adequately trained on the ever-increasing and technologically advanced brands and makes of cars today. And in case of both, the authorized service centres and the roadside garages, the problems of shoddily done jobs, lack of professionalism, lack of transparency in operations are aplenty. Long wait periods, to get an appointment and to get the job done; at the authorized service centres are also very common.
With the fast increasing automotive population in India, there’s an equally increasing gap between consumer expectation and fulfilment when it comes to automotive services.
AutoVega™ is an answer to this gap and has now decided to offer its unique Low Cost Mobile car servicing through a Van, that costs just Rs 10 Lakhs for a Unit Franchise and Rs 30 Lakhs for a Master Super Franchise (5 Vans).
AutoVega™ owns 3 brands and offers specialised services in each of these brands which are:
Insta Lube™-The Preventive Maintenance Service is the 5000 Kms/3 months service recommended by manufacturers. The all-essential 21-Check Point Service on a car is done including oil, and filter change.
Insta Shine™ is the full-car detailing service, which is a lot more than the exterior polish and Teflon coating service that the dealers provide.
Insta Dent™ is our dent repair service that fixes car dents in less than half the price and time that your dealer does.
It has now hired the services of the Franchise Experts in India, Sparkleminds, to develop, strategize and execute its franchise expansion programme and ensure that franchisees are able to use all the 3 brands and offer great service to car owners.
Commenting on their services Shri Khanapurkar CEO & Founder JK AutoVega Mobile Car Services Private Limited (JKPL), which owns the above brands said, “We take our services in our branded vans right to the door of the car owner. Our trained professionals perform these services in front of the car owner, using products that match or surpass manufacturers specifications. Highest possible quality, transparency, and unmatched convenience, all at a very competitive price, transform our customers into immensely satisfied car owners. All you need is an AutoVega™ Van that serves as a complete service station visiting a client at their place. We go to our customers doorstep and make their service experience Convenient. Fast. Affordable.”
Mr Amit Nahar, CEO of Sparkleminds commented “the automotive industry in India, which is the fifth largest in the world, is projected to grow at a rate of 10% till 2015.With the industry looking at a turnover of $35-145 Billion by that time, and domestic sales looking to clock $20-22 Billion, we are all set to witness tremendous automobile growth. Infact this will contribute to more than 10% of the country’s GDP and around the 30% of Industry GDP. Hence service providers with the newest technologies, easy access and offering great convenience will all grow tremendously and this is where AutoVega will ensure that it plays a vital role in servicing cars in India. We are looking at a Pan India presence with an initial target of 200 Franchised Mobile Vans across all major cities and towns of India in the next 3 Years. The challenge is to educate customers about this service and get closer to them, and to be able to offer quick and easy services.”
